An Affirmation for Love

I am a beautiful, gifted, one-of-a-kind, empowered woman.  There is no else in the world like me.  I choose to honor, celebrate and love both the spirit and the body of who I am, where I am and what I am.  I am glorious and perfect because I am an expression of the same Divine spark in each human being.  Because I am this spark, I choose to think, believe, feel and act in ways which reflect my self-respect, self-esteem, self-acceptance and self-love.  I know I can only be available for loving another when I am available to loving myself.  I am always expanding my self-awareness about who I am and how I show up, intent on creating change and growth every day.  I am open and willing to look honestly at myself in every area and to identify those areas which require love, attention, change, and healing to be who I want to be.

I radiate light, peace, clarity and confidence.  I am at peace with my past relationships and experiences.  I am present, here and now, and available to create the life of my dreams.  I walk with grace, class and kindness.  A sense of self-trust guides me along my path in all areas of my life.  I do not allow past experiences or old relationships to drive who I am today.  I practice forgiveness for myself and others.  I am healed and healing from the past and able to see the important lessons life gifted me from even my greatest challenges.

I choose to honor my desire to have a man to share my life.  I know every man I’ve attracted and will attract into my experience teaches me divine lessons.  I intend to deliberately create my dating experiences, knowing I am being divinely led to the right man.  He is likewise being divinely led to me.  I choose to have a partnership, not just a relationship.  My ideal partner is as physically, spiritually, mentally, and emotionally available for this partnership as I am.  I take responsibility for my own thoughts, beliefs, emotions and actions in every life situation.  I am clear about who I am, what I want and what I value and honor in both myself and my partner.  Inspiration, intuition, and light guides my in choosing my preferences for love. I honor what I want and the reasons I choose it.  I honor my own boundaries which demonstrate self-love, self-respect, and self-esteem.  When I am true to myself, I attract others who are capable of being true.

I pay attention to what I want in a relationship and the qualities I’d like in myself and my man,  thinking through and becoming clear about areas and issues such as:  emotional availability, a strong self-concept, family life, social life, work/career/finances/money, spirituality/religion, communication, sharing common space and resources, children, health, affection, sexuality and intimacy.  I gain more and more clarity into who I am and what I want each day and I intent to attract a man who is a fit for me in all of these areas.  I allow my partner to show up just as he is, who he is, where he is and what he is.  I honor his path, his past, his dreams and his life.  We are both allowed to be human and to be ourselves.  If I experience a man who is not a fit for me, I honor us both by speaking my truth honestly and openly and releasing him and me from the relationship.

I see a vision of myself and my husband meeting in divine time and order and not one second too late.  We both cherish showing up real with one another, comfortable in being our true selves: open, vulnerable, safe and available.  From this foundation, I see us growing together, navigating the ups and downs of life and being true and committed to ourselves and each other every step of the way.  Love flourishes because we both know how to love ourselves and how to love one another.  Freedom, peace, joy and safety surrounds us both as we develop trust in ourselves and each other to show up honestly, full of integrity, and capable of truly being present for and available to one another.  I am grateful already for the relationship and partnership of my dreams.  It is already happening right now.  I am open, willing, and ready for it all and it unfolds just as I attract it, intend it, and create it.  So it is.
